BAKER BAKER - I am looking for information on the parents of Lydia Birdsal BAKER (born 9 May 1813, Dryden). I believe her parents were John W. BAKER and Content BIRDSAL. I believe John W. BAKER was born about 1780 and died about 1867 but where? Content BIRDSAL BAKER was born about 1786 and died about 1856 but where? When and where were John W. BAKER and Content BIRDSAL married? BURTON Am looking for information on the BURTON, MIX and LUDDINGTON families in the Dryden area in the early 1800s. Varnum BURTON, son of Isiah? married Sylvinia (Sevinah) MIX, daughter of Collins and Nepha (?) MIX. Varnum's sister married ? LUDDINGTON. DECAMP The following information is from a publication in 1972 by the Florida Genealogical Records Commission of the DAR. Jacob DECAMP married Rhoda PIPES, probably before 1780 in NJ possibly Morristown, Morris Co.). Both were born in NJ; I have no birth dates or locations. They had ten children, and, about 1801, moved to what is now Tompkins Co., NY, but was then Cayuga or Seneca Co. They had ten children: 1) Susannah DeCamp (b. 12/29/1780, NJ; d. 3/26/1862; m. David Ross, 3/2/1799, nine children; possibly remained in NJ?); 2) Gemima (or Jemima) DeCamp (b. 11/16/1784, NJ; m. John Freese, one child); 3) Sally DeCamp (m. Jessie Balknap, five children); 4) Betsy DeCamp (m. Herman Ward); 5) Abraham DeCamp (b. 11/28/1789; d. 8/8/1881, Dexter, Washtenaw Co., MI; m. Abigail Butler, thirteen children); 6) Charlotte DeCamp, no further information; 7) Daniel DeCamp (b. 1/15/1797; d. 1886; m. Rachel Alexander); 8) Morris DeCamp (b. 10/23/1799; d. 4/14/1890, Chautauqua, Chautauqua Co., NY; m. Rachel Learn); 9) Joseph DeCamp (b. 10/23/1799; m. Sylvia Brighman) 10) Clarissa DeCamp (m. Simon Alexander). Abraham DeCamp and his family apparently moved to Washtenaw Co., Michigan, sometime after 1817, and some of his children settled in nearby Bunker Hill, Ingham Co., MI; Morris and possibly Joseph apparently moved to Chautauqua, Chautauqua Co., NY. I am especially interested in information about the parents of Jacob and Rhoda and the date and place of their marriage, as well as any other information about this family, including the daughters. METCALF: HAMMOND: Specifically looking for the parents of Herbert J METCALF and Nellie Hammond, who were married in the 1890's and had six children.
